About Mari
I am currently studying BHSc Physiology and Biochemistry at NWU and started peer tutoring Afrikaans and English in Gr 9, and Life Sciences in Gr 11. I completed matric with seven distinctions and have since received multiple distinctions at university level as well. These achievements were possible thanks to a positive work ethic instilled by past tutors - something I'd like to pass along.

I enjoy teaching by dissecting topics into smaller units that are easier to comprehend. By linking each small unit you piece together a general overview which makes it easier to see the bigger picture and keep track of small details.
The exact study methods (e.g flashcards, mnemonics, practice tests) used will depend on what works for the student, and can be adjusted accordingly.
