About Alexandra
I went to college and wasn't too sure of what I wanted to do as a career. I graduated with a degree of Psychology, but then I found my LOVE for teaching. My love for teaching begins with my love for kids, interacting with them and developing strong relationships with all of my students and their families. I don't just want to be a teacher to my students, but I want to be a role model. Throughout my three years of teaching, I have found a great passion for the content that I teach, and watching my students grow and get excited to learn is one of the best parts of the job. I just received my Master's degree in childhood education, and although it took hard work, it never felt like work with the passion I have always felt behind it. My dream is to send off my students into a successful world, confident about themselves and the world around them.

I LOVE teaching! I love to jump into your brain and see what you understand and what you don't. I do this by either reading a bit together or solving a few problems together, and then we go from there. For reading, we can work on better understanding texts and improve our reading comprehension. For math, we can work on how we approach challenging problems. My biggest goal is to work together as a team, and lead you to success. The secret behind both learning and teaching is passion, and my goal is to get you where you want to be. I am confident in teaching third, but would feel great teaching grades 1-6, as I just received my Master's in childhood education.
