I'm a third-year undergraduate in Theoretical Physics on a year abroad at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore, looking to tutor in Maths and Physics at GCSE level or equivalent. Whether you're looking to get ahead for next year or review topics you've already covered, I'm here to help.
I have thorough experience in maths and physics tuition at GCSE level as part of mentorship schemes throughout my academic career; I understand that maths and physics are daunting for many students, and aim to help them develop the skills to solve problems in a way that is meaningful to them.

I understand that maths and physics are difficult for a lot of people, so my lessons focus on coaching students to solve problems in the way that is best for them.
My GCSE/equivalent lessons are between 1-2 hours, and revolve around the specific topics or problems that the student would like to cover. A typical lesson consists of the following:
• Recap of previous topics/techniques covered
• Explanation of a given topic
• Worked examples
• Time for the student to attempt example questions themself
• Review and further examples
At each of these points, my focus is on the student's own knowledge and confidence; for some topics, more than one explanation may be needed for the student to fully grasp a given concept. In these cases, I adjust the pace of the lesson as necessary.
