About Yusuf
I'm Yusuf, a Year 8 student at Wallington County Grammar School, and I offer focused French tutoring for primary and early secondary students. French is one of my strongest subjects, and because I'm currently studying it at grammar school level, I know exactly what examiners and teachers are looking for — and how to explain concepts in a way that actually makes sense to younger learners. I cover vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, and spoken French, building students up from the basics to confident, accurate French.
My sessions are practical and structured, utilising exercises that yield real results. Whether your child is struggling to keep up or wants to get ahead, I'll make sure they leave each session with something concrete to show for it.

Most of my lessons are 50 minutes long for French.
I start with a formative assessment, to evaluate the student's standing in the French lesson. After this, I will create a plan for them and tailor all my future lessons to the weaknesses displayed in the test.
I can teach Primary students, and students in Year 7 & 8.

Yusuf was a brilliant tutor from our first lesson, he was really polite and my son got on with him excellently. I do like the fact that we could do lessons in his house, as it is more face to face and it allows more learning and less faff with all the tech stuff.
Yusuf didn't teach me through Superprof specifically, but I do have to say that he was really helpful and did explain topics well. My son Zayn loved him, thanks.
