Jameson has been my vocal coach for almost 3 years now. Here's why.

Some background first: I was recommended to Jameson by a best friend of mine who produces music for top artists such as Rhianna, Justin Bieber, Just Timberlake, etc. He did extensive research into vocal coaches and immediately noticed Jameson was just *different*. Given his background, we can probably trust that he can identify a world class singer when he hears one. Naturally, I went with his suggestion and started a lesson with Jameson.

When I began my vocal lessons with Jameson, I was actually god awful. Any time I sang around others, I would regularly annoy then to the point where they had to ask me to shut up. I often heard things along the lines of "Who sings this song? Great, let's keep it that way".

These days, it's completely different. Whenever I go out with friends to karaoke, I'm regularly complimented about my voice — I was once even asked by the host whether I was an entertainer?? It's honestly still baffling to me that I somehow improved enough to be considered a good singer now, but it's all thanks to the weekly Zoom lessons I've had with Jameson.

As of 2 weeks ago, we've switched from one 1 hour weekly lessons to two 45 min weekly lessons. I've found this to be extra helpful because there's now half as much time between lessons for me to forget what we worked on.

Working with Jameson is great because he's always super encouraging, he doesn't shy away from delivering honest and constructive feedback, but it's also never EVER in a condescending manner. I think this is incredibly important because whenever he says I'm on the right track or sounding right, I can trust that I'm *actually* doing well.

In contrast, I've worked with multiple other vocal coaches where according to them, almost everything I'm doing is basically perfect. If there's no consistent constructive feedback, it's simply not possible to improve.

I can confidently and unreservedly say that Jameson has by far been the best vocal coach I've ever worked with. As a matter of fact, based on the massive leaps in improvement I've had with Jameson, he's the best *music* teacher I've ever worked with too (this includes all the vocal coaches, piano teachers, guitar teachers, etc. that I've worked with). I still have plenty of room for improvement, but I'm very happy with my trajectory and continuous progress.
