About Jenna
At the University of Toronto, I completed a BA (Honours) in Visual Studies, where my series of paintings for my thesis project earned me a nomination to the BMO 1st Art Award. I also received the McAndrew Family Scholarship for Outstanding Student in the Arts, twice.
I have completed traditional training in drawing and oil painting from the Florence Academy of Art (in Italy), through their 6 week intensive workshop. I have also attended workshops with the most respected representational painters working today (Keita Morimoto (2018); Jordan Sokol (2019); Hollis Dunlap (2020); and Studio Escalier (2021)).
My artwork has been shown at the Bombay Sapphire Art Exhibition in Toronto in 2018 and at the Toronto Outdoor Art Fair (2021). I currently have artworks in Brown University's permanent art collection in Rhode Island. I continue to work as a commissioned artist, with a primary focus on portraiture in oil painting.

Can’t pinpoint why your painting doesn’t look “real”? Do you know that something is going wrong in your work, but don’t know why and don’t know how to fix it? I provide comprehensive technical critiques for representational art. With knowledge of anatomy, color, and form, I will show you with accurate and specific information how to improve your artwork.
Lessons and critiques will take place over Zoom. I will use Procreate to digitally demonstrate what you should implement in real life.
While I can provide useful critiques to many different skill-levels, I currently only accept students over 16 years of age.
Although my price per hour is $40, most students find a 30 minute lesson ($20) is sufficient for each session.
Please feel free to message me to receive my website URL so you can view my recent works.

Jenna is an amazing tutor! She helped me edit my graduate school application, and gave many suggestions that helped make my application very strong. She is very quick at responding as well, and is available to chat via Zoom if you have any questions or need any advice. I would highly recommend Jenna to anyone seeking help on their application writing, or academic writing in general!
Jenna’s diligence to her craft as an editor and commitment as an instructor is particularly noteworthy. She is very precise and intentional in her approach and has helped me edit my own work on numerous occasions. Jenna is one of the most intelligent people I know.
Her command of the English language and her knack for sharpening sentences is unparalleled. She knows where to pare down repetitive thought, and her strength lies in her ability to simplify the complex and succinctly get a point across.
She’s got a proven track record of success in writing and editing, and I continue to turn to her for advice when drafting academic applications and professional memos.Jenna is one of the most intelligent people I know.
