  • Tell us more about your subject. How did you develop an interest in this field?

    I have been training myself regularly for the last 9 years and have been in love with the process since then only. Also over the years what I have learnt about health and fitness is that training smartly i.e. basically injury-free is more important than training at your 100% every day.
  • What or who is the motivation behind you choosing to teach & why?

    My motivation behind teaching this is that I see so many people regularly around me in the gym training so wrong and basically the motive is to help as many people in India use their potential to get to their best physical health and body shape. Also, I want to change the notion that "Indians are so unhealthy and so in bad shape people".
  • How does your work help society?

    So how this helps society is that it will become more aware of the importance of health and fitness which in itself is super important for the society to realise its full spiritual, economic, and even intellectual potential.
  • If you had to think of a role model for your work, who do you think of & why?

    My role model in terms of someone from whom I learn so much about the principles of health and fitness is Mr. Mike O Hearn. His principles for longevity in terms of your joints, ligaments, and connective tissues importance for you to live and enjoy life with any sort of pain over the next 100 years(lol) you are going to live seems so relevant in this day and age where so many people have started to develop knee pain, elbow pain and also pains here and there. So these principles can help so many people live a pain and injury-free life.
  • Tell us about your hobbies outside teaching.

    So I live to read atlas because I love to read about the geography of the world.
  • Do you have an anecdote to tell us about your student or professional life?

    One student of mine was so adamant that I should help her to reduce the triceps fat which i believe is a very wrong thing to ask because spot fat reduction is not possible.
