About Manmeet Kaur
I am Manmeet and I have been an English teacher and a dorm parent for more than 10 years. I enjoy teaching because I think I get to learn from my students as they do from me. Each day in the classroom is different and my students inspire me to grow not only in gaining knowledge but also in my personality.

I use explicit teaching strategy in my approach, ensuring concepts are modelled, guided and consistently practiced. I focus on two-way communication where students inquire and clarify and teachers ask contextual questions to prompt and illicit response to build meaningful learning. I use visual aids, connect learning to real life examples to avoid cognitive overload and make learning accessible.
