About Josiah
Teaching comes to me as a passion and I love to do it. I took science from high school to the University where I was notable among my colleagues for being able to explain things in beautifully understandable ways. As a tutor, I am friendly and approachable and try all I can to build a good trust-based connection with my students irrespective of their background, gender, comprehension levels, or academic needs. I am time-conscious and try to respect my students' time as much as I can, making sure I make the best out of every little time spent with them. Students can be rest-assured that their grades will improve and they will be proud of the successes they will achieve in their academic journey with me.

Students can easily conceptualize my lessons and I make it as interactive and engaging as possible. My lessons are tailored according to learner-specific needs and targets. I recognize that each student has their own strengths and deficits, thus I try to put myself in their shoes with all patience and respect. I encourage students to think critically and feel free to ask questions. My Systemic four-way approach to tutoring is to • Give detailed explanations, • Give case scenarios, everyday applications and examples, • Let the student try enough exercises till they grasp the concept, • Take their general feedback on the lesson. As a person who appreciates graphic-oriented learning, I believe students also learn best through good audiovisual tools. Thus, I employ multimedia resources to aid comprehension whenever necessary.
