About Brian
As a music producer, recording artist, songwriter, and DJ for 15+ years, I'm well-versed in music across eras and styles. My career has taken me from New York City to Santiago and now to London where I work as a producer, songwriter, and composer. I'm a graduate of NYU's Recorded Music programme, where I trained in production & music business, and studied jazz performance at Shenandoah Conservatory. I've written in sessions with major record labels like Sony Music and I've been a featured artist on indie releases from pop to electronic. As a composer for film & TV, I've created bespoke music for ads by Nike Jordan, Bud Light, and Sephora, and I've created experimental music for immersive spaces, wellness apps, and virtual reality. Under the alias Ruven, I am an active solo artist as well, playing live shows in New York City and London and independently releasing music ranging from alt-pop to immersive electronica. My recent EP was featured in Rolling Stone's "Songs You Need to Know" and my song "The Loop" was included in American Songwriter's 2024 Song Contest. My music has been played by DJs like Andrew Weatherall and Tom Ravenscroft on NTS Radio and BBC Radio 6 Music.
