About Ashish
Hello! My name is Ashish Kumar, and for the past 10+ years, Physics has been not just my subject but my passion and purpose. I believe that Physics is not merely a collection of formulas, but a way of thinking, questioning, and understanding the universe. My teaching journey began in Dec 2014 and since then, I have been deeply committed to helping students crack some of the toughest challenges — the JEE and NEET examinations. Currently, I work at O.P. Jindal School, Raigarh, as part of the Sarvodaya initiative, where I train Class 11 and 12 students in both board preparation and competitive exams. Before this, I spent 7 wonderful years at Brother’s Academy in Ranchi, where I had the privilege of mentoring more than a thousand students — many of whom are now studying at IITs, NITs, and top medical colleges. What sets me apart as a teacher is my unique teaching approach. I focus on conceptual clarity first, then gradually move to advanced problem-solving. I often tell my students: “If you understand the why, the how becomes easy.” This is why I use real-world analogies, thought experiments, and demonstrations to make abstract concepts like electromagnetism or quantum physics feel relatable and even fun. Another important part of my classes is the micro-test system. I design short, rigorous quizzes with detailed error analysis to help students learn from their mistakes. This system ensures that preparation is not just about solving more questions, but about solving them more accurately and confidently. I also strongly believe in the role of subconscious learning — the idea that repetition, reflection, and visualization can help students absorb knowledge at a deeper level. As a STEM-certified educator (Chitty STEM Education Course), I incorporate technology, simulations, and problem-solving activities to bring Physics alive. My students don’t just memorize formulas; they visualize concepts and apply them in real-life contexts. For example, I often relate Newton’s Laws to sports, electricity to daily gadgets, and waves to music. This sparks curiosity and ensures that learning is never boring. Beyond academics, I see myself as a mentor and motivator. I know that JEE and NEET preparation can be stressful, and students often lose confidence. This is where I step in, not only as a teacher but as a guide who encourages resilience, discipline, and a positive mindset. I believe that marks are important, but the right attitude is what shapes long-term success. To parents, I offer complete transparency. I share regular feedback, progress reports, and simple strategies that can be followed at home. To students, I offer patience, encouragement, and a promise — I will stand with you in this journey until you achieve your goal. Teaching Physics is not my job; it is my calling. If you choose to learn with me, you won’t just prepare for exams — you will learn to think like a physicist, solve like a strategist, and grow like a learner who is ready for life’s challenges.
