About Katja
In Germany I studied International Commerce and I made a Master in Marketing Management in Spain (ESIC). I also worked among others as a journalist. Besides, I have published a book in German.
I've been teaching for many years in language schools and companies with a high pass rate for the examinations that apply. I have also worked as a translator for German, English and Spanish.

I'm a German teacher in the Liceo Europeo (Madrid) and a translator with extensive experience. I am a Co-Examinor of the Goethe Institut for the levels A1, A2 and B1. Throughout several years I have been teaching in languages schools and companies.
My classes are dynamic and personalized. My teaching approach, according to the objectives and needs of each student, is based on comprehension, using grammar as a necessary tool and conversation. For this I use coherent and entertaining teaching materials. My goal is to achieve that every one of my students learns German, because it is a rich language and it is much easier to acquire than it seems.
In addition, I teach Spanish and English to foreigners with very positive results. Learning a foreign language is not difficult. It only depends on your attitude, with a little effort and lots of practice you can easily succeed.
I charge 20€/hour. My availability is between 9.30 am until 17.00 pm. I teach private lessons online or in the Mall Diversia (Alcobendas).

Perfect! Katja nos da clase a mi hija de 14 años y a mi desde hace casi un año. Hemos avanzado mucho. Sus clases son muy agradables y variadas. Va cambiando de actividad para no perder el ritmo saltando de gramática a conversación a escritura y a pronunciación. Es una persona metódica y culta. Además tiene el título de examinadora por lo que tiene muy claro el recorrido para una buena preparación de sus alumnos. Es alemana y tiene un acento muy bonito. Es buena dando trucos para que se fijen los conocimientos. Definitivamente es una profesora muy recomendable.
