About Ayumi
I was born in Japan and have been living in the U.S. since the age of five. I graduated a U.S. college and have worked with over 35 ESL students for more than eight years. Thanks to my teaching, where I share not only tips on how to improve your English but also how to have the right mindset for academic, professional, and personal success, my students have seen tremendous growth and achievement of their goals. From getting into the college of their dreams with superb SAT scores to passing the GED exam to be able to get a high-paying job in the U.S., my students have seen their lives transformed due to their improvements.

My teaching method is based on my personal experience of learning English as a Japanese student and consistently performing well in my academic and professional career. I teach all ages and levels of ESL students, but the students that benefit from me the most are those who are high school students or older. Not only do I teach the tips and tricks of improving English as a second language, but also share mindset techniques to set goals, increase confidence so you can take bold action, and achieve your dreams. I believe that English is a skill that can propel you towards achieving your dream; the effort you put into English learning and the level of English you get to is directly correlated to the amount of success you will find in any other area of your life.
