About Tala
My name is Tala, and I am a native Arabic speaker currently studying at the University of Alberta. I am passionate about languages, education, and helping students gain confidence in their abilities.
I speak Arabic, English, and French, which allows me to communicate effectively with students from different backgrounds and adapt my explanations to their needs. I have experience working with children through tutoring and educational activities, and I enjoy creating a positive and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making progress at their own pace.
As someone who has learned and used multiple languages throughout my life, I understand the challenges that can come with language learning. My goal is to make Arabic accessible, engaging, and enjoyable while helping students build strong foundations in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.
I am patient, organized, and committed to supporting each student's individual learning journey. Whether a student is just beginning to learn Arabic or looking to strengthen existing skills, I strive to provide guidance, encouragement, and a learning experience tailored to their goals.

I am a native Arabic speaker and a first-year university student. I offer Arabic lessons for children and beginners who want to improve their reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in a supportive and engaging environment.
My teaching approach is personalized to each student's age, level, and learning goals. I believe that students learn best when lessons are interactive, encouraging, and adapted to their individual needs. I use a combination of conversation practice, reading exercises, vocabulary building, writing activities, and games for younger learners to make lessons both educational and enjoyable.
A typical lesson may include reviewing previous material, introducing new vocabulary or grammar concepts, practicing reading and pronunciation, and engaging in speaking activities to build confidence. I also provide additional practice and guidance when needed.
What sets me apart is my ability to teach Arabic while communicating fluently in English and French, making it easier for students from different backgrounds to understand and learn effectively. I also have experience working with children through tutoring and educational activities, which has helped me develop patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
My lessons are suitable for children, beginners, heritage speakers who want to reconnect with Arabic, and anyone looking to improve their Arabic language skills in a positive and structured learning environment.
