About Aileen
Hi I’m Aileen! I’m a trombone player, from the central belt of Scotland, currently studying for a Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff.
Quite literally from birth I was always around music (my dad plays piano). In primary school I began playing piano, and soon after the trombone. I began to musically thrive after starting secondary school and eventually started studying at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (RCS) Juniors program.
Through RCS I became a member of the National Youth Choir of Scotland.
I am also heavily involved in the brass banding scene across the UK and I am currently the principal player of the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland.
I am thoroughly enjoying my time studying in Wales and looking to share my passion with others, I advocate strongly for the importance of music peoples lives, an encouraging musical environment can be truly life changing.

Open to all ages! Lessons will be tailored to each individual musicians need, whether that is working towards and exam or performance or simply making music for fun. Lessons will be completely at the learners pace in an encouraging environment with manageable targets and practice support :)
