About Benjamin
My name is Ben and I am currently 19 years old and in my first year at Durham University studying chemistry. I want to become a tutor as I have always revelled in helping people understand difficult to grasp concepts and because I want to financially support myself whilst at uni and to go on trips abroad with friends in the holidays.

My lessons are for anyone taking up GCSE and A-Level maths, chemistry and physics. For the last couple of years I have helped fellow students and my younger sister understand difficult problems and I have suggested various different ways for them to tackle them. During my lessons, I would find out what my student knew about the topic from previous school lessons, ask them what they wanted to focus on, then I'd discuss the core concepts of the topic so some questions can be attempted and based off their performance and understanding I can judge if we can move onto a new section or if we should dedicate more time to understanding the topic.
