About Nikki
My name is Nikki Sewraj, and I am currently studying towards my Bachelor of Education Degree at Embury Institute for Higher Education. This is my final year at Embury. I have completed my Higher Certificate in preschool education. I spent my first year of teaching practise at Curro Embury College Pre-Primary Wonderland (Higher certificate), in my second year of the Foundation phase I was at St Augustine’s Catholic Primary School and in my third year at Saint Anthony’s Catholic Primary School, once my Higher certificate year was over, I bridged into my degree phase of teaching.

My experiences throughout these years have been a blessing towards my career and my teaching experiences. Each day has taught me something different and new. The learners helped me understand that I can do what I am meant to do and be. Motivation is the key to my teaching profession; it is something that I carry with me every day. In my teaching profession I have vowed to always be calm, fun, nurturing and passionate towards my learners. I as an educator will always put my learners needs and their choices first before anything. I want my learners to be able to be empowered and moved by their growth of work and by their individual capabilities. I am sure that I as an educator will be fully providing my learners with the best of lessons. I am a very energetic and vibrant. Throughout my experiences, my learners have made me fully aware that teaching is my goal. I love children and I am very passionate about what I do and how I do things.
