About Sean
I have been a Management Consultant, Vice President of Finance, and Chief Financial Officer at multiple small and medium enterprises and, as an executive, oversaw companies ranging from 10 to 80 employees. I have also worked for family offices with asset sizes ranging from $30million to $2billion. I was originally from Singapore (fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese since my childhood days) and moved to Vancouver BC since 2004 (16 years till today). I completed my undergraduate degree in Economics and Philosophy from UBC and studied Managerial Accounting at Langara College.
I have 2+ years of teaching students one on one and have also taught at large seminars at UBC and Langara College with student attendees each ranging from 20 to 120 students per seminar. I have also given professional speeches at established institutions such as Cambridge House and the International Rotary Club with accredited attendees ranging from 50 to 200 attending professionals per presentation.

Hello!
Subjects I can teach include:
A. Elementary & High School
- Subjects: Math, English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Social Studies, ESL students, Sciences
- Rate: Elementary students $20/hour, High School students $30/hour
B. Year 1/2 University Students and other Mature Students
- Subjects: Finance & Accounting, Financial Modelling and Excel Models, Business and Professional English, Economics, Statistics, Business Case Competitions, Presentation Skills, Entrepreneurship
- Rate: $35 to $50++/hour depending on scope of work
Covid safety: I always wear a face mask and regularly use a 70%+ alcohol hand sanitizer. I am also double vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine.
I live in near to UBC (10 minutes drive from UBC). I prefer to teach online but can also travel if needed. My house is covid friendly to drop your kids off too as my home has air filters and I would be more than happy to air the home with your child is over for tutoring.
MINIMUM 1 hr lessons. I can give a group deal if I am teaching more than one student at a time at one location.
