About Toby
I'm a year 12 student enrolled in Marist Catholic College North Shore and the NSW School of Languages and have been learning Japanese for nearly 4 years now. I aspire to someday reach a native-level understanding of the language, but for now would like to spread my knowledge to kids like me who are struggling with the difficult language that is Japanese. I struggled immensely with learning the complexities and trivialities of the languages initially, so my goal is to be the tutor I wish I had back then for kids doing the same course that I've experienced, been marked on, and had qualified teacher feedback from. I also aspire to become a teacher later in life- hopefully teaching English in Japan- because I truly love helping others learn.

Hi! I'm a Year 12 student looking to help kids get a headstart in their 100-hour and Stage 6 courses! I follow the NSW education curriculum taught at the School of Languages and secondary schools for Japanese and assist in writing, reading, comprehension, and pronunciation, especially for those with little understanding of the language who need thorough English explanations.
Lessons may take place after school or at an agreed-upon time at your residence, library, or online if necessary and I will provide resources for you to use based on your current level of knowledge (must be within distance of Sydney Metro area for commuting sake). :)
