About Kitty
I am currently on a gap year, having completed my A Levels achieving 4A*'s in Biology, Chemistry, Psychology and the EPQ alongside straight 9's in my science IGCSEs. I am set to go to Bristol University in 2027 to study Veterinary Science. I am an avid animal lover, hoping to use my similar passion for science for veterinary! When I'm not studying, Â my hobbies include running (love a good park run), Â skiing and horse riding. Although, I adored my time at school I understand and empathise with how intense A levels and GCSE's are having often myself faced impostor syndrome. So I hope to be a supportive tutor helping students too see their own true academic potential.Â

GCSE & A Level Tutoring
I offer online and in person tutoring for GCSE and A Level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, with lessons tailored to each student’s individual needs and learning style.
I have tutored regularly throughout sixth form, supporting students with GCSE Biology and Chemistry. I find it extremely rewarding to help students overcome areas they have previously struggled with, while not only helping to improve their grades but also building their confidence in their own academic abilities unlocking potential.
Having recently completed my GCSEs and A Levels, I understand the challenges students face and can offer up-to-date and exam board specific advice on revision, exam technique and effective study methods.
Throughout my own studies, I have developed effective ways of using technology to support learning, including GoodNotes and Anki flashcards. I can adapt lessons and resources to suit different learning styles, whether a student benefits most from visual explanations, active recall, discussion or working through past paper questions together. I understand from my recent student experience, how specific Science mark schemes for both GCSE and A Level are so am keen to help students with the effective use of keywords and definitions to synthesise top mark band answers.
Lessons are available from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending on the student’s age, goals and individual needs.
