About Marina
Hi! My name is Marina, I am a first year dental student, I took biology, chemistry and maths at A-level.
I have lots of experience tutoring, at schools, online and in person, that means I’ve also had a lot of experience getting to know what works for people. I can accommodate to all levels ensuring that you get a full understanding of the content and can develop at a pace that you are comfortable with.
I am keen to make learning enjoyable for you ( well, as enjoyable as it can be) and to help you excel and achieve.

My lessons will entail an initial 25-30 minutes fine-tuned tutoring, ensuring includes detailed notes and PowerPoints that I will share throughout the lessons. This will ensure that the content is thoroughly understood and can be applied in multiple contexts of questions. Then the latter half of the lesson will include application work where we will go through questions both together and independently. I will prepare a question bank of questions that vary in difficulty, slowly building up your confidence. We will end the lesson, by going through key points, setting a task for homework to ensure the content of the lesson is revised throughout the week and with a brief conversation about confidence and the content of the next lesson. I try to focus on improving people’s confidence in their ability and working at a pace that is comfortable yet challenges you slightly.
