About Matt
I am a Digital Illustrator & Graphic Designer who specializes in character design, children's book art & digital/graphic art. I have experience designing and illustrating children’s books, comic books, illustration tuition & freelance client work. I have worked as lead comic book artist & supervisor within a private company. I am also publishing my own children's book.

I'm a friendly, fun tutor who wants to enhance the skills of my students, bring out a creative interest in students and ultimately teach students to enjoy art and open some minds. My teaching method is fun and engaging. I primarily tutor kids from kindergarten to high school; however, I am happy to tutor adults as well. In individual classes, I try to let the student find their own style and work from there, either enhancing their skill or finding that creative spark they might not have realized they had. With group classes, I have the same ethos but will have preset things planned for them to draw. This is just a guideline, and I encourage the students to make it their own as the class progresses.
