About Christopher
So what would you like to learn?
I currently work for Thomson Reuters in tax by day and tutor by night (and on weekends when I'm in London). I have been tutoring full-time or part-time for the past few years and I have taught Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry from Common Entrance to degree level.
I also teach computer programming. So if you're interested in learning Matlab, R, Python, SQL, HTML5 or Java I may well be your man!
What am I currently tutoring, you say?
I'm currently teaching Common Entrance across the board and some master's level Bioinformatics.

I was tutored by Chris from mid-July 2013 until September 8th 2013. I had received an internship at KPMG. The role required me to have a basic understanding of HTML which I had not come across in my degree. I contacted Chris as I had heard a good review of his teaching style from a friend and needed somebody whom was very flexible with his time, due to my fluctuating work times with my part time job. I found that Chris was incredibly professional, as well as being very generous with his time, often extending our hourly sessions without charge if he felt that a certain idea needed extra time or additional explanation in order to make the most out of the session.
We met two or three times a week depending on my schedule and we worked in various manners, sometimes concentrating on problems I have faced in my own work, sometimes working on predesigned lessons that Chris created prior to the meeting. I found Chris very approachable and felt there was no question that I could ask that wouldn’t be met with thoughtful answer. Often I felt that I was going above and beyond what I would call the ‘basics’ of web development, which my future role required, but that only helped with my overall understanding of the programming language.
Ultimately I found Chris tutorship incredibly helpful, and often innovative. His ability to draw out interest in a topic is uncanny and would not hesitate to use his services again should the occasion occur.
David TurnerWithout his help I would not have been able to pass my G.C.S.E maths enabling me to get into sixth form and eventually university. He was always patient and willing to think of different ways to approach problems I did not understand.
