About Hubert
I have tutored a wide range of pupils during my time as a tutor. Some of them were eager to learn, but others less so. I am pleased to say that I have been quite successful in building pupil confidence and helping pupils develop their skills, mainly for exams. A key example of this has been essay planning and essay writing. I have helped a lot of youngsters improve in how they write, so that they answer the exam question more effectively.

My teaching methodology usually involves asking the student or his/her parents about specific needs, followed by a reading and writing exercise. Usually, I hope to set a homework assignment to help the student consolidate what we have covered in class. I usually tutor students for an hour, but have experience tutoring students for an hour and a half or two hours. I have been working on and off as a tutor since 2012, when I completed my MA.
