About Katie Irene
I have been tutoring and studying education since I was 7. I have a degree in Mathematics and Education. In the last 19 years, I have worked with students age 2-college and beyond. When I graduated college in 2020, I decided to tutor instead of going into a school.

I try to give my students plenty of opportunities to ask questions in a non-judgmental environment. I always start lessons by asking if they have any questions and if they have started working on new topics. I answer those questions before we dive into my lesson plans.
I try to keep my lesson plans simple. With lower grades, it's typically a list of topics. With higher grades, I include a few questions for each topic. This way, I can easily tailor the lesson plan as we go to fit the student's needs.
I started tutoring when I was 7 years old. I think my biggest strength is knowing the teacher/textbook explanations, but also being able to explain those topics from a student perspective.

Details
I typically charge $20/hour for KG-4th grade, $25/hour for 5th-8th grade, and $30/hour for 9th grade and up. I only accept PayPal.
