About Yashani
I’m a second year architecture student who studied maths, chemistry and physics at A-level. I’ve spent around a year and a half tutoring within my secondary school and almost two years tutoring as a job at university in subjects such as maths and physics, ranging from year 7 to GCSE. I also play the piano and I’m an ABRSM Grade 5. I enjoy going to the gym, keeping active and reading too. I love football and Formula 1!

My lessons are usually 50mins-1hour. I have now been a tutor for almost two years. I find that all students learn slightly differently so I like to start with a short assessment to gauge where their strengths are. From here, lessons are initially tailored to learning key methodologies for question types and skills. Next we focus on essential exam technique to ensure they are as prepared as possible!

Yashani was a tutor for my son in chemistry and maths. She was supportive and worked at a pace that was comfortable but also ensured a sufficient amount of content was covered.
Yashani has been a tutor for my daughter for over 3 months now and has been brilliant! She has been doing GCSE maths and personalises the sessions to the exam board, specific question types, and tier level. She's more than happy to spend a little extra time on those more difficult topics and from my experience is very accomodating too!
