About Valentina
My name is Valentina, I am an undergraduate student at the University of Manchester, a Russell Group university, where I study Law with Politics. I aspire to be a solicitor. I have been tutoring for 2 years, I enjoy tutoring as a part-time job because it allows me to share my knowledge and help young people progress within their academic journey- something of which I am passionate about. At A-levels, I achieved an A* in sociology, A in English Literature and B in Government and Politics. Alongside this, I completed many different legal internships in global firms such as Clyde & Co, therefore I also offer guidance in writing applications, interview practice and any other career progression guidance as part of my tutoring package. I received 9s in English Literature, English Language, History and Spanish.

I believe that tutoring should be effective, useful and enjoyable- to ensure this, I tailor my tutoring to each individual student I teach. I begin all tutoring relationships with an introductory session to get to know my student; their weaknesses, strengths and goals. From this, I make resources and plan my sessions to ensure that my student gets the most out of my teaching. I emphasise the importance of exam practice and for essay-based subjects, i find its extremely important that students learn how to perfectly craft and structure their writing. My tutoring style is entirely tailored to my students needs.
