About Ruby
For RS, I think personalised and skilled teaching is crucial for achieving those top bands, so I will strive to ensure my students will benefit from clear, in-depth teaching of the subject.
I am genuinely passionate about this subject! so I look forward to being able to share this with my students, and help you also engage in the more challenging aspects.
I will also be able to share personalised notes and examples of top mark essays, and we will analyse them together to see exactly where students can gain crucial marks.

I am a friendly and encouraging tutor, happy to help students at all levels and stages of confidence!
- my sessions will typically be an hour, with a focus on perfecting essay structure, and ensuring in-depth understanding of the content which I know can be really tricky. We will engage with debates around different philosophical theories, strengths and weaknesses, and the importance of works of scholars.
- I have experience with both AQA and EDEXCEL exam boards for philosophy and ethics.
- for study of religion, I can assist students with Hinduism studies.
