About Cindi
Once I graduated from the B.ed program I traveled to the U.K where I supply taught for 6 months prior to teaching grade 2 full time. One of our common chants and inspirational phrases in the classrooms were "you've got the eye of the tiger!" The children used this phrase to cheer on their peers when they were having difficulty. This phrase as well as other classroom management strategies were used to build a child's sense of autonomy for the purpose of having them take control and build their desire for learning as an active participant.
Education: Bachelors of Education in Primary Junior divisions, Certified through Ontario College of Teachers available to tutor grades 1-6.
Additional Education: Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies,

I am an OCT certified Teacher with working experience with children aged from 3-34 in regards to movement and processing as an acting OTA. In addition, I also have working experience with children aged 6-11 years where I utilized my bachelors of education degree, supply teaching and then full-time teaching grade 2 in the U.K. Following my move to the U.K I gained further experience teaching grade 3 in Canmore Alberta. I am uniquely qualified in blending several methods that I have gathered throughout my travels abroad as well as across disciplines. I can tailor these methods to your child based on their needs. By this explanation it is clear that I embrace a Democratic teaching style embracing the child as an active participant in their learning journey.
