About Fizza
I'm Fizza. At the University of Brsitol, I study electrical engineering. I achieved AAA in my a levels. I had to be quite independent in my study because I came from a school that had low academic performance. I would often teach myself during my GCSE and A-level courses. Because of this, I frequently recognise the problems that peers of mine had. Every time a student who had been struggling to grasp a concept had a "ah-ha" moment, whether it was one of my friends or a younger student, I would sincerely enjoy witnessing it. I managed to get an A** in my maths, physics, and chemistry GCSEs at my school despite my circumstances.

To fit the needs of each student, I can modify my teaching approach. Drawing frequent analogies and diagrams. I apply active recall and spaced repetition in the classroom to concisely teach theory. Overall, I make sure that the lessons are engaging for the students and connect the theory to practical applications. Given that I think learning encompasses more than just getting an A.

Perfect! she was extremely helpful with her explanation, making a difficult concept make sense and was reassuring when I got an answer wrong !
- Asma is a fast thinker and eager to keep trying until she gets to the correct answer. She’s patient and persistent when answering maths questions. I have no doubt that she has the capability to achieve a top grade in her Maths A-level. Overall she was such a pleasure to teach!Fizza's response :
Perfect! She's really good at explaining topics, she uses diagrams as it makes things easier to understand, she writes down steps to achieve the answer and always does an example before letting me have a go.

We are both engineering students. However, I became a teaching assistant and I have conversations with the tutor regularly. I noticed their exceptional way of explaining various STEM topics, including math, physics, and chemistry.
Fizza is a great tutor who genuinely loves the subjects she teaches (was taught maths), the enthusiasm she shows when explaining topics and questions makes the subject a-lot more enjoyable plus the patience and kindness she shows no matter how many times I ask for help etc. Thank you so much Fizza you made me actually enjoy maths for a change.
