About Nadine

I grew up in both New York and Switzerland and graduated from an IB school in Switzerland. Earlier this year, I graduated from the CSM Foundation with a predicted distinction mark.

I want to help students with their applications to help guide them through the process and make it less overwhelming and confusing, as it had been for me and many of my peers. As I have been through the process twice myself, I know the ins and outs and can help students understand what’s required from them and what the course itself is actually like.

I want students to also discover themselves through the creative process as they create their portfolio for application. The portfolio-creating process can be stressful but can also reveal your underlying creative values and desires.

About the lesson

I offer 1-1 tutoring to help with applications to Art and Design Universities including portfolio planning, preparation and critiques, and can help no matter the stage of the process you are at. I also offer tutoring to help with personal statement writing and refining.

As someone who has been through the process of applications twice and the CSM foundation, I have an inside perspective on what the courses and admissions process is like. I can help you understand what the course is like from a student perspective and what you need to prepare to have an application that stands out.

In my lessons, I will help guide you through specific projects to construct your portfolio out of to help your creative voice shine through your application. I have portfolio examples and a structured guide to help you understand what is needed from you.

The application process can be overwhelming and confusing. Whether you are just starting out in the process and need longer term tutoring or just need a drop in session for critiques, I am here to help as someone who has been through the process myself, twice over.

My experience comes from tutoring students within the International Bachelorette/A-level schooling system and I’ve helped my fellow students in their successful application to art and design universities. I myself have successfully applied to the CSM foundation as an international student without any prior A-Level in art and design, and later the BA courses in Product in Industrial Design at numerous universities.
