About Valeska
I am a Psychology major with a passion for teaching. I hope to assist children of all backgrounds with school-work or test prep. I am especially keen on children with academic or developmental disabilities who require the most assistance especially during these difficult times where parents have to work and children are left to fend. I can offer all kinds of academic assistance for ages 4-14 and will work with your budget.

I base my teaching and tutoring on the simple concept that is inclusivity and acceptance. All children learn in different stages and through different ways. I can accommodate to your child's learning needs especially having experience with 3 siblings and also assisting both at a summer camp and in a preschool. I try to get a bit of background information on the child to understand what approach is best, some children require a consistent and forward approach with "rules" and boundaries (i.e. no phones) while other children require a game-like approach where they need to feel constantly engaged and take little breaks to actually absorb the information, I am constantly providing updates to parents and everything is always communicated with both the parent's and child's needs.
