About Martim
For me, it is unthinkable to start practicing without mastering the theory beforehand. Thus, in my tutoring sessions, I begin by exposing a certain theme, from the general to the particular. Next, I stress the essential points that should be retained as tools for all exercises subordinated to this theme. Then I move on to practice, and I exemplify, in various type-exercises, the method of resolution that I consider to be simpler and more straightforward - I adopt that of the teacher, whenever indicated. Only then do I ask the students to perform exercises alone, always asking them to do some until our next session. It is extremely important to have feedback week after week. Only then can I evaluate our progress as a team!

I always loved to teach. I have a great passion for imparting knowledge and instilling in students the confidence they need for academic success. Currently, as a 3rd year Medical Student, at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Lisbon, I monitor 1st and 2nd year students in Anatomy, Clinical Anatomy and Neuroanatomy. But it was my love for Mathematics, Biology, Geology, Chemistry, Physics and languages (I'm fluent in five!) that made me start tutoring.
