About Davey
I am an enthusiastic student who graduated with 2 bachelors in Mathematics and Physics and a Masters in Theoretical Physics.
I mainly focus on computational physics but have a very strong analytical background. Also, over the years I have had almost every subject in physics and I am able to understand problems at a very high level.
Throughout my bachelor I was always ready to explain things to my fellow students when it was unclear and I have tutored for 1.5 years.

I like to start my lessons by first discussing the known level and the goal of my student. If there are any issues with the known subject matter, we will start going through an exercise or the problem while discussing our tought process. In this way it becomes clear what you do, what you do not understand or whether there is any confusion somewhere.
The theory or exercises can then be explained step by step using more understandable examples that we can see in everyday life. This way you can get a better grasp on what is happening or have an easier equivalent example to imagine.
Once you feel like you have a better understanding we can go back to the exercises to test how it goes. After a lesson, if requested, a practice sheet can also be prepared that repeats this explanation and gives some exercises that can be done to test yourself.
You can determine the lesson duration yourself from 0.5 to 4 hours, but my experience says that shorter lessons of about an hour work best.
I have previously tutored throughout my Bsc. and on this platform 3 years ago but had stopped due to time constraints.
My classes are aimed at pre-university education to university and for all ages.

Fantastische leerkracht! Ik snap alles niet altijd even snel en Davey heeft er geen probleem mee om zijn uitleg aan te passen aan mijn eigen tempo. Legt de dingen glashelder uit en is zeer geduldig in zijn leermethode.
Davey is a very nice tutor and I’ll highly recommend him!!! He is so patient in helping with my Physics and also sometimes about Math and computer science. My grade improved a lot because of him and my understanding in physics also goes in depth. He is also a good friend and with lots of passion in what he is teaching.
