About Abdullah
Tutoring is, and will always be, a student-oriented endeavor. It doesn't matter if the tutor is the smartest person on the planet; If he can't put himself in his student's shoes, then his student will never be able to learn effectively and no progress will be made. Currently in college, I have experienced first-hand professors who, while undeniably knowledgeable about the subject, ramble on and on for hours as students doze off learning nothing new. I am confident that focusing on the uniqueness of the students would bring far greater benefits to them, which you'll experience under my watch!

How mathematics is taught conventionally by most modern teachers is certainly outdated and cumbersome. No wonder a lot of people balk at the idea of the subject! From experience, tutees appreciate mathematics way more with a visual representation of the topic as well as its real-life applications. Using visual aids, diagrams, and tools like Desmos; I have helped cement normally tedious topics into my students' minds which helped them score exceptionally on tests. As someone who was an international mathematics competitor, what sets apart people is how quickly they understand and retain concepts in a consistent manner. Implementing my own method has helped me understand concepts instantaneously, enabling me to win two bronze medals for my country. This method, I am positive, will help normal students even more. I am confident to teach people taking middle and high-school level math, but I can also help in SAT prep and honors math classes.
