About Trina
I taught for two years in a private school. During that time, I also tutored many children in varying grades.
At this present time I am a private English tutor to children in China. I graduated with an associate's degree in theology as well as a focus in early education. I also took six years of electives in music.
Teaching is not only a job, but a love of mine. I hope to inspire young minds to love and enjoy learning.

I want first to develop an understanding of the child's individual needs. The goal is not just better grades, but an understanding of the subject. A mastery in learning. I care for each one of my students!
I specialize in grades 1-6th. I was a first and second-grade teacher. I was also a tutor throughout the other grades. I loved them as my students and was loved in return.
Throughout my time as a teacher, I also taught music as well.
I play both piano and violin. I have experience with beginner musicians.
I begin each lesson with a couple questions about their week and how the child is doing. Then we move on to the main objective of each lesson. Objectives vary between each lesson.
Learning should be fun, instructive, and understandable.

Details
I am currently being paid $20 for 50-minute lessons in English tutoring. The extra cost will help with transportation fees if need be.
I prefer in-house tutoring. The cost will be $18 if I can teach from my home. I have found that in-person teaching is the best route to go.
