About Gigi
I am a UAL Wimbledon College of Arts student from Hong Kong, studying Costume design for Theatre and Screen. Currently based in London.
My passion lies in costume design, Theatre and Fashion Design. In my free time, I develop personal projects, such as creating a contemporary performance costume piece and doing historical costume research.
I value my design process and making, and I think one of the most important thing to build a strong project, a strong character is having a solid research. So I have been challenging myself to go out of my confront zone and develop many different ideas.

I aim to provide all my help to students who wish to gain entrance to a costume design, theatre design or fashion design course or who wish to further develop design skills and practice.
I assist and give honest advice to those who are struggling in any stage of your project, from starting a project to idea generation to researching and design development, prototyping to the final outcome, or even with portfolio (will be pointing out potential weaknesses and finding potentials).
With my experience in gaining three A* across three Art Alevels (Fashion and Textile design, 3D Design, History of Art) I can also give support to those who wish to gain A* in A level Arts and Design,
Things that I can offer help with: Porfolio (from Costume design, Theatre Design to Fashion Design), Costume design sketches, Fashion Design Sketches, Design Development, Garment making skills, Historical costume and society research, Pattern Cutting skills, Digital costume and character illustration with photoshop, sewing.
I can provide lessons in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
I provide a free 30mins video chat if anyone is unsure of what the lesson will cover, we will be talking about what your needs are and thinking of the most effective way to assist you!
