About Danny
Hi students! My name is Danny, and my last name is Zhou (周). I came to Canada when I was 9 years old and grew up in Richmond, BC. I graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Asian Studies and minoring in Economics. I also completed a Diploma in Accounting at UBC. For my day to day job, I work as a paramedic and a medical translator.
With years of experience in tutoring and translation, I am an Associate Member of the Society of Interpreters and Translators of BC. I am native fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English.
The Chinese language has always fascinated me, and if you want to learn this amazing language, I would be happy to help. Learning Chinese is not easy, but it is incredibly rewarding.
