About Adnan
I am a Computer Science Instructor currently teaching at Langara College, with over six years of university-level teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Computer Science from UBC. In addition to teaching, I have worked as a programmer at UBC and previously served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in the UBC Computer Science department, where I received a Graduate Teaching Assistant Award for excellence in instruction.
My background combines academic rigor with practical development experience. I understand both the theory behind computer science concepts and their application in real-world software systems. This allows me to guide students with clarity, structure, and patience.
I take professionalism seriously. I prepare lessons in advance, communicate clearly, and create a focused learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not just to help students complete tasks, but to help them build confidence and long-term technical ability.
