About Eman
Hi! I'm Eman, a medical student at University College London (UCL) with over three years of tutoring experience. I have a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals while building confidence and developing a genuine understanding of the subjects they study.
Having recently completed school and navigated competitive university admissions myself, I understand the challenges students face and know how to explain difficult concepts in a clear and approachable way. Outside of medicine, I enjoy teaching and find it incredibly rewarding to see students grow in confidence and achieve results they didn't think were possible.

I believe the best learning happens when students feel comfortable asking questions and understand the reasoning behind what they're learning, rather than simply memorising methods. My lessons are interactive, supportive, and tailored to each student's needs, allowing us to focus on areas where they need the most help while also building on their strengths.
At the start of tutoring, I identify a student's current level, confidence, and learning style before creating a personalised plan to help them achieve their goals. During lessons, I use worked examples, guided practice, and exam-style questions to reinforce understanding, regularly checking progress and adapting my teaching where needed. I also place a strong emphasis on developing problem-solving skills, exam technique, and confidence so that students become independent learners who can apply their knowledge successfully in assessments.
