About Luisa
I have been studying philosophy for the past eight years, starting in high school. I then pursued a BA in philosophy at UCL, where I focused mostly on ethics, metaethics, freedom of speech, etc. I recently completed an MPhil programme in the Netherlands, where I researched ethics of technology and AI, critical theory and German idealism. I’m currently a PhD candidate at the University of Essex, where I investigate the interplay of technology and social domination.

I have experience tutoring students for GCSEs and A-Levels, usually a one-hour class is enough, a couple of times a week. However, I’m open to longer lessons. Our lessons will be tailored to your needs, whether you need to prepare for an exam or are just interested in pursuing philosophical enquiry. We can read and interpret together complex passages, review exam questions, discuss any doubts. While I can help with essay writing skills, I do not offer essay writing services.
