About Ediz
I was a year seven tutor in my high school, and have volunteered to help kids with special needs for the past 4 years. I like to help others, and sharing my knowledge is one of the easiest ways to do that. I completed IB Maths and Physics HL top of my classes with a high 7 (out of 7, 85% overall), and am pursuing computer science. I like to think analytically and get down to the source of any piece of knowledge. In my opinion, knowing why is more important than knowing how. This approach of learning has always fuelled my passion for my subjects. I hope to inspire the same type of passion in my students.

I try to teach individual problems from the ground up starting from the basic axiom and building to the technique that leads to the solution. This way I feel the students get to realise how they themselves could have solved the problem by thinking through it logically. Usually the knowledge is present within the student already, and they just need a little help to employ it correctly. Sometimes all they need is to be asked the right question, by tweaking the problem you can lead them to solve it on their own, which is much more empowering.
I like to focus on the students' weaker areas so a typical lesson would consist of a recap of a small portion of the syllabus, and solving problems to reinforce the learning.
