About Gus
I am a 25-year-old master's graduate who currently lives in Canterbury. I recently completed an MA in Legal and Political Theory from University College London, receiving a first-class honours, and I am also currently working as a cover teacher in a secondary school. My tutoring approach takes seriously the fact that every student will have a different perspective. It's important to me therefore that students come away from our sessions feeling secure in their own perspectives, so that they can defend them with confidence.

My sessions are aimed at students studying towards their A-Level in Philosophy. I have recently completed a master's degree in Legal and Political Theory, which had a heavy focus on analytical philosophical methods. I ended up receiving a first-class honours for this course. Most importantly, I want to create an exploratory atmosphere in my sessions, where students can develop their own perspectives on philosophy as a discipline and approaches to deconstructing essay questions. The typical duration of my lessons is 1 to 2 hours.
