About Zain
Anything is easy to learn - it just needs to be taught properly!
I'm a 3rd-year medical student at UCL currently embarking on a research project at GOSH. I started teaching Arabic online in 2020, during which I learnt how to break concepts down and make them digestible for new learners. I have taught pre-clinical Medicine to first-year students since coming to University.
In school, the best teachers I had were the ones who inspired a love for learning in their students. Besides aiming for high grades, I aim to inspire curiosity in my students to make them love studying more.

I teach Biology and Chemistry to A-Level, as well as French and Arabic to GCSE.
My lessons focus on three main parts:
1) Breaking down the concepts of the curriculum,
2) Building those concepts through practice,
3) Applying what you've learnt to answering exam questions.
Sciences, especially at A-Level, introduce big concepts that can seem hard to understand, but they just need to be properly broken down and practised lots! My lessons teach you exactly what to focus on to master these concepts. Also, exam mark schemes tend to be confusing and (very) irritating, but my lessons train you to think exactly how the exam wants to ensure top marks :)
As a medical student, I am also open to providing advice on the admissions process!
