About Dylan
I’m a UCL medical student with a strong academic background in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. Having recently gone through GCSEs, A-levels, the UCAT and medical school applications myself, I understand both the academic demands and the pressure students can face.
I enjoy tutoring because I like taking difficult concepts and making them feel much simpler and more manageable. My aim is not just to help students memorise content, but to understand it well enough to apply it confidently in exams.
I’m approachable, patient and organised, and I adapt my teaching style to each student rather than using the same method for everyone. Whether you’re trying to catch up, improve your exam technique or aim for the highest grades, I’ll keep lessons focused and practical.

I tailor each lesson to the student’s exam board, current level and specific weaknesses. My focus is on making difficult Biology and Chemistry concepts genuinely understandable, then turning that understanding into marks through exam questions, active recall and precise exam technique.
Lessons are usually 60 minutes and are suitable for GCSE and A-level students of all abilities, whether you’re trying to strengthen fundamentals or push from an A to an A*.
As a UCL medical student, I have recent experience of succeeding in demanding science exams and the university admissions process, so I can also help with UCAT preparation, medical school applications and interview technique.
I keep lessons structured, interactive and focused on measurable improvement rather than simply working through a textbook.
