About Amy
For my GCSEs I achieved all 9s in the Sciences and Maths, incl. Further Maths and right now I am a medical student at UCL, having just achieved 3 A*s in my A Levels (Biology, Chemistry and Maths). In my UCAT, I achieved a 90th percentile score, with which I received offers from UCL, Southampton and Cardiff. In my lessons I will use a mixture of UCAT questions, timed practice as well as technique tweaking to help my students achieve their very best.

I’m a big believer in the idea that everybody has the potential to achieve top grades in any subject, no matter their current ability. In my lessons, I will aim to pinpoint any areas/sections of the UCAT a student may be struggling with and help them build a deeper understanding. With a time-pressured exam like the UCAT, every second counts, which is why I ensure my students have sufficient practice under timed conditions. Often, starting timed practice too late has a drastic impact on a student’s final score. Additionally, after my lessons I like to set tailored homework featuring a student’s weaker areas and common questions.
