About Emily
I first started studying Spanish in my secondary school six years ago, but It took me two years before I properly learned how to learn Spanish effectively and enjoy it in the meantime. I hope that the technique of language learning I teach also serves you well for the future as it serves me today as I learn Polish.
I still love to read in Spanish, especially Isabel Allende books, and enjoy Hispanic Reggaeton music and Spanish podcasts. I won the foreign language award in my Sixth form, as a result of my dedication to learning more about the culture and history of Spain, including it's literature and the Spanish civil war.

First, I like to have a conversation with the student to see what they perceive their strengths and weaknesses in language are, including specific grammar, tenses and vocabulary sets and more general areas, such as speaking or writing. We will then assess how I can help and what out goals will be.
My lessons will be based off improving on these weaker areas with writing and speaking exercises, before moving on to mock speaking tests and mock essays, which I will mark and highlight weaker areas, which we will go over and practice together and iron out.
