I am a UCLA graduate and have had extensive experience as a substitute teacher in the Los Angeles Area. Through my experiences as a substitute, I have developed a versatile teaching approach, adapting to different curriculums and student needs. I am available to teach over Zoom.

My main goal in a session is to demystify math. I like to explain math in plain, simple language and start by helping students understand why something works before we get into how to do it. If I can, I try to teach things the same way their teacher does—just to keep things consistent and avoid any confusion.
But if that doesn’t click, I switch it up. One thing that really sets me apart is my knack for breaking tough concepts down into easy, bite-sized steps. That way, even the trickiest topics start to feel a lot more manageable (and way less scary).
