About Alejandro
I am a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles, with a theoretical (pure) mathematics degree. My passion for math ignited during high school, propelling me to attend local junior colleges and pursue advanced mathematics courses such as Multivariable Calculus, Linear Algebra, and similar subjects.
This journey sparked a love for teaching and aiding others. Consequently, my high school entrusted me to teach additional courses ranging from Algebra to Advanced Placement Calculus.
In addition to mathematics, I am also a linguist. I speak four languages: English, Mandarin Chinese, French, and Spanish.
Furthermore, over the past year, I served as a Christian missionary for my church in Taipei, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, and Shenzhen, China. During this time, I ministered to churches, taught theology, and completed my second bachelor's degree in Christian Ministries
Regardless of whatever issues, I am more than happy to assist in any way possible.

My lessons are tailored to each person's individual needs! I have experience teaching students from high school to university settings; as a high school student, I tutored university students in Calculus, Linear Algebra, and Differential Equations.
I enjoy teaching my students the concepts by walking them through practice problems! My philosophy is that we learn best on the job! When someone is teaching us, giving us an example, showing us how it is done, and asking the student to execute it is the best way for someone to learn.
As we finish the first set of problems, I allow them to finish the rest to see their mastery/understanding of the material.
I also encourage students to ask many questions to deepen their understanding!
