About Jessica
I’ve been a tutor for a few years now. Through the few years of experience, I have picked up the bits and pieces that lead students to the pathway of success. I am pretty qualified as a I am an incredibly hardworking student and have graduated high school as a valedictorian. I am now an undergraduate UCLA student majoring in Physiological Sciences. I have received feedback from others on how I teach and they have said that they love how simple and quick it was for them to pick up concepts that they were initially confused on.

I like to ask my students what portion of the subject they may not be understanding and break it down for them. However, I also ask my students what they do know and ask them to have a short review of what they do know to ensure that have full understanding. I also understand the difficulties of not really getting a subject so I also offer reassurance and an optimistic attitude to keep my students going! Another way I like to tackle tricky topics is practice! So I will provide plenty of practice worksheets and review sessions to ensure my students have the material down!
I keep things simple and quick. I also accommodate to the student: teaching them in a way that is easier for that specific student to understand and stick with a certain concept.
